Biography

Dr. Lacharite joined Athabasca University in October 2007.  He is currently the Individualized Study Tutor for GLST/HIST 307 and 381 and POEC 302.  Dr. Lacharite received his Ph.D. from Monash University (Melbourne, Australia) in 2005.  As well, he has studied in Seoul, South Korea and Victoria, B.C., Canada.

Dr. Lacharite’s research interests include the relationship between globalization and Canadian tax and social policy, Chinese politics, government, and history, strategic studies in the Asia Pacific region, and comparative public policy in the OECD.  He continues to teach at the University of Northern British Columbia and the College of New Caledonia in Prince George, B.C.
