I joined AU in 2006, after leaving my job as the Graduate Student Ombuds Officer at the University of Alberta in order to be a 'work at home' mom. I have had various interesting jobs, including working as a contract conciliator and investigator for the Alberta Human Rights and Citizenship Commission. My interests are quite broad, but I specialize in topics related to early modern Europe and Britain, particularly witchcraft and atheism. I have taught Renaissance and early modern History at Concordia University and also teach various Religious Studies courses at the University of Alberta.
