  • B.A. (University of Alberta)
  • B.A. (Honours) (University of Alberta)
  • M.A. (Queen's University)

I have been a Tutor with Athabasca University since January 2005, after completing my M.A. in History at Queen's University, Kingston, ON.  My M.A. research was a blend of gender studies and history with art, cultural, social, religious, and family history. My interests remain with both Gender and Health studies, and with History. While at Queen’s, I taught in Medieval History, Women’s Studies, and the WWII Holocaust. With AU, I teach in Women's Studies, History of Family, History of Science, History of Rome and of Early Christianity, and in past I have also taught History of WWII. My past academic work enables me to teach across disciplines and courses as an instructor with AU where I enjoy mentoring students to achieve their own academic successes.
